OUR STORY
C.M. EICHENLAUB CO. was founded in 1899 by Charles M. Eichenlaub. Charles was born on a farm in Butler county PA and came to Pittsburgh in the 1880s to learn cabinet making. Charles later worked as an installation superintendent for church furniture, and with an entrepreneurial spirit, stablished C.M. EICHENLAUB CO. to produce “kneeler cushions” made in his garage. Eventually the company transitioned from manufacturing to representing one of the leading manufacturers of church furniture. In time the company expanded its lines to include school furniture and equipment. Eventually, the focus became solely dedicated to seating solutions and athletic equipment.
Today the company continues to represent reputable American based manufacturers of the highest quality and integrity.
